Placement-linked Dissertations 2015

Welcome to a new batch of student bloggers! This year, we have nine students undertaking placement-linked dissertations. For the first time, we also have an international placement with the Responsible Safari Company. In addition, we have new placements organised at the British Antarctic Survey and the British Geological Survey.

Dr Bethan Davies is a glaciologist researching the impact of climate change on glaciers in the past, present and future. She uses fieldwork, satellite imagery and computer models to understand glacier change. Her research interests are focussed in Antarctica, Patagonia and Britain.
